Not all of those buried on hollow ground in our veteran ceremonies died in war, but they still served our country and made a sacrifice to secure our freedom. It reflects the courage and leadership they possessed to serve our great nation during wars and during peacetime to secure our freedom. All who reside in our veteran cemeteries today gave of themselves to others in service of our country; and some paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives.
