Gene's Daily Scriptural Postings

Did you know there are only four times in the Bible where God says He will command a blessing? Sure, there are blessings of God all throughout the Bible. But four times He steps it up a notch with a commanded blessing. One of those promised commanded blessings is on everything you do. Unfortunately many Christians are sitting back, waiting for God to drop a blessing in their lap. This is especially true in the area of provision. They don't realize the blessing is already there waiting for them to get to work and receive it. It's a case where you must give God something to bless, just like the boy with the five loaves and two fish. Then He can multiply what you give Him. That is the most common path to provision by far. Because you are in Christ, the work you do is commanded to be blessed by God. You can receive that promise by faith. One simple way to see God's hand of blessing on your life is to get working!

The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.— Deuteronomy 28:8 (NKJV)
