AUDIO VERSIONLET LOVE GUIDE OUR EVERY MOVEIt is a new year, and it is time to eliminate all those bad habits, bitterness, rage, anger, and negativity.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32
No more shouting and slamming doors; we are tossing out those mean digs and insults, too. That is not who we are meant to be.
Instead, we need to be good to each other, kind hearted, and forgiving one another, just as God forgave us.
Yes, it can be challenging, but we have to be understanding and show compassion, just like God does for us.
Let love guide our every move this year.
We are all in this together; be generous with that forgiveness, just like God is generous with us. Let go of the grudges and hard feelings.
Why? Because God wiped the slate clean for us, right? It is like a fresh start every day.
At the end of the day, being kind is the way God created us.
It is not weak to be kind; it is strong. It takes strength to let go of all the negative and choose love and kindness instead.
This New Year, be the person who uplifts, not the one who tears down. That is the way to live in love, just like God intended. And you know what? It feels pretty good, too.Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.
Heavenly Father, I want to be more like You in every way You have created me to be. I want Your love that lives in me to be the light to others. I ask for Your help in the areas where I need Your help. When all is said and done, I want to be more like You in how I think, speak, and act. You have made it possible as Your Holy Spirit lives within, Thank You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
