We live in turbulent times. All around us we see upheavals from politics, social norms, the economy, even how people talk to one another. It's like the whole planet is so angry it's shaking.
That shaking may be ripping your own world apart right now. But you can continue to stand unshaken because you are in Christ. The Kingdom of God is within you. And God's Kingdom cannot be shaken.
Jesus said those who hear what He says and do it have built their house on a rock solid foundation that can weather any storm. It is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. When you receive it by learning His Kingdom ways and walking in them, that's how you remain peaceful and unshakable.
Your responsibility is to abide in Christ. That takes time and effort to look to Him instead of allowing fear and worry dominate your attention. Then you will be secure regardless of the storms that rage around you because He is unshakable.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe. — Hebrews 12:28 (HCSB)
