Many people think that salvation is the message that Jesus preached. But the good news Jesus shared during His time on earth contained much more than access to heaven when we step into eternity. Jesus said He was sent to preach the Kingdom of God. In fact, He said preaching the Kingdom was the very reason He came to earth.
Salvation is a critical part of the Kingdom of God because salvation is the doorway, the way we enter into the Kingdom. How sad would it be if you were given an entire mansion but you lived your whole live never moving past the front entryway?
You have been given the Kingdom of God. Jesus is our King. And the very reason He came to earth was to give you His Kingdom. Move past the entryway of salvation and explore everything the Kingdom has to offer you. There is a lifetime of exciting new corners of God's Kingdom for you to discover!
