For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 16:25
Think about it. We chase after success, happiness, and security, desperately trying to control every detail.
Jesus gently reminds us that the abundant life He promises is only found in losing ourselves for His sake.
Losing your life for Jesus does not mean you lose your identity or purpose. Instead, it is about releasing our tight grip on our plans and allowing God to guide us.
It is a daily surrender and a constant choice to align our plans with God.
It is in those moments of surrender that we discover a profound paradox. The more we release our desires, fears, and ambitions to God, the more we find the life He intended for us all along.
It is a life filled with purpose, joy, and peace that surpasses our understanding.
When we hold on to our plans and dreams, we may find success, but often at the cost of our peace and well being.
When we trust God, we find a freedom that transcends our circumstances.
Challenge yourself to let go of the need to control and surrender your plans to God. Trusting that in doing so, you will find the life you were truly meant to live.

Heavenly Father, to live a life that is pleasing to You, I must surrender my plans and not try to control them myself. To walk in Your Love is to be led by Your Holy Spirit and walk in obedience to Your Word. I know You lead forth with peace, and as I seek You with all my heart, You will gently lead me where You would have me go. As Your Word becomes my meditation, Your Word will speak to me, and I will live to the praise of Your glory. I surrender all my life and plans to You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
