You have a calling on your life from God. This is true of everyone who follows Jesus, without exception. You may not be called to a traditional full-time ministry role. In fact, the overwhelming majority of the Body of Christ isn't called to that kind of a role. So you can relax because the call God places on your life is every bit as important as the preacher at the front of the church meeting. You are called to make a difference in your world. Having a significant impact requires supernatural assistance from God. That divine help is available to you but you will only tap into it to the level of intimacy in your relationship with God. Get to know Jesus and everything He accomplished on your behalf. Learn the ways of His Kingdom so you can walk in them here on earth. As you grow to know Jesus more intimately, you will begin to see the unique calling God has placed on your life. And that intimacy will enable you to walk in a manner worthy of your calling.
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, exhort you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you were called. — Ephesians 4:1 (MEV)
