Many Christians treat their faith very casually, almost as an afterthought. They go about their lives as they always did with the addition of going to a church service on Sundays. They rarely give God a second thought throughout the rest of the week. Many just go through the motions and it takes a major crisis in their lives before they get serious about seeking an intimate relationship with Jesus. The Apostle Paul modeled a very different perspective. For him, Jesus was his very life. His relationship with Jesus was his all-consuming central focus. That intimate relationship touched every decision he made and everything he said and did. As a result his life was incredibly fruitful and full of power. Even death held no fear over him because, as awesome as his life was, he knew the moment he stepped into eternity he would experience something even better still. That same place of freedom and power is available to you too. If your life lacks power and purpose, you will find them in Jesus. Adjust your priorities until you make Him your life. That's the way to experience the very best of everything God has for you.
