As believers, we tend to settle for far, far less than God's intended best for our lives. God has so much more available to us in His Kingdom than we are walking in.
The truth is, you have an incredibly rich inheritance waiting for you in Christ. As a believer, you are a co-heir with Christ. Because of your new born again identity in Christ, the fullness of His inheritance is already in you just waiting to be released.
God has already given you all things that pertain to life and godliness. That means you have a responsibility to learn what those things are and then walk in them. Your inheritance in Christ is far more lavish than you yet comprehend.
Religion taught you that to desire more from God is somehow selfish and ungodly. Yet Jesus said that it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. It is never selfish of you to bring pleasure to the Father. Therefore, you can continue to desire to experience more of God's Kingdom and know you are bringing pleasure to the Father as you do so. Expect more. Experience more. As you do so, know that you bring even more pleasure to the Father. | ||
