Imagine being Habakkuk, witnessing the injustices and turmoil around him, pouring out his heart to God, and questioning why things are the way they are.
Look among the nations and watch. Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you. Habakkuk 1:5
Habakkuk is essentially asking, God, are You even listening? Are You aware of what is happening?
God tells Habakkuk to look around and be amazed, for He is about to do something so incredible that even if it were described to him, he would not believe it.
God essentially says I am at work, even when you can not see it. Trust Me.
In the middle of our doubts and uncertainties, God actively works behind the scenes, orchestrating His plans for our lives and the world around us.
Even when everything seems chaotic and out of control, God remains in control.
The ways of God are not always our ways, and His timing is not always ours. We might not understand everything that is happening, and that is okay.
Our job is to trust God, to have faith that He knows what He is doing, even when we can not see the bigger picture.
As we wait on God, remember the words of Habakkuk and choose to be astounded by the faithfulness of God, even in the middle of uncertainty.
Trust that God is working on something in your life that is beyond your comprehension and will ultimately bring glory to His name so others can see the work of God in your life.
May you find peace knowing that God hears your cries, sees your pain, and is actively at work in your life.
Have the faith to believe that the plans God has for you are far greater than anything you could ever imagine.
Heavenly Father, I am thankful I know You as Father, and I am thankful You know the road before me. As I study Your Word and You lead me, You will lead me to what is best for my life as You see the bigger picture. I will find peace knowing that You hear my cries, see my pain, and are actively at work in my life. Thank You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Have The Faith To Believe That The Plans God Has For You Are Far Greater Than Anything You Could Ever Imagine.
