There are at least two ways you can grow wealthy in this life. The most common way is to learn the world's system, work hard, and save as much as you can. That system goes all the way back to the garden and the fall of mankind. There in Genesis chapter three God said the ground was cursed because of what Adam did.
In the world's system we must force the cursed ground to produce through our painful toil and sweat. Jesus explained that system is powered by an ungodly spiritual force He called mammon. Because the world's system is cursed, wealth gained that way brings sorrows of many kinds such as selfishness, greed, isolation, disappointment, regret, and damaged relationships.
The other way to grow wealthy is by aligning our lives with God's Kingdom ways and receiving His blessings. The Bible is clear. God's promised blessings will make one rich without all the sorrowful baggage of the cursed mammon system.
God's way seems harder because we must retrain our minds to believe in the supernatural. But once we understand the difference, the choice is obvious. Choose to learn the blessed ways of the Kingdom of God and leave all that worldly baggage behind! | ||
