The benefits we receive from investing time in God's word are immeasurable. The Bible says that God's words are perfect. The words of the Lord literally have the power to restore our soul to its originally intended condition. They actually revive us and refresh us.
At the same time, God's words are chock full of wisdom. Because scripture is trustworthy and true, taking scripture on board and making it a part of our being also instills wisdom into us. If you need wisdom, perhaps the best way to get more is to ask God to reveal His wisdom to you from His word. The more of His wisdom you tap into, the more successful you will be in all your endeavors. | ||
