Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

17 February 2024

Peace in the midst of life's storms should be one of the things followers of Jesus are known for. Peace is a fruit of the spirit. Plus we have easy access to God's very own unlimited supply of supernatural peace.

Unfortunately many believers are master worriers who go through life full of anxiety and stress. The moment one of life's storms hit, they fall apart like a cheap pair of shoes.

Jesus told us not to worry, but to instead seek the Kingdom of God. Paul showed us exactly how to set aside our anxieties. Instead of worry, we can pray to God about those troubling things while also being thankful for the good things God has done in our lives. When we release our worries to God in prayer, then the scriptures tell us we will experience God's supernatural peace.

In Christ it is possible to experience peace independent of our circumstances. When we do, that peace of God actually protects our hearts and our minds from the attacks of the enemy. Would you like to experience more of God's peace today? Take your worries to God in prayer. Tell Him what you are thankful for. Then that peace will flow over you supernaturally.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
