Gene's Daily Scriptural Postings

God saw Gideon as a mighty man of valor. But Gideon saw himself as the youngest son of the smallest family of the smallest tribe in Israel. He thought he was nothing, a nobody. Which view of Gideon was right? God's view was more accurate. After all, God created Gideon and knew what He put inside him. The problem wasn't that the enemies Gideon saw all around were too big. Gideon's problem was he saw himself too small. As a believer, you have the power of the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you. God has already equipped you to accomplish great things. You are destined for greatness. That miracle you are praying for? God has already placed it inside you!

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”— Judges 6:12 (NKJV)
