Gene's Daily Scriptural Postings

Updated: Apr 3, 2022

It's human nature to forget the good things God has done for us in the past. Even the disciples tended to lose sight of what Jesus had done, sometimes even earlier that same day! You will do well to build reminders into your life when you see God move on your behalf. Write them down. That way you can remember those good things God does for you. Go back to your journal entries, especially when things get tough. Then, whenever those challenges do arise, you can have the same faith David had when he told king Saul, "The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." Remembering the good things God has done in your life strengthens your faith so that you can face today's giants and know you will overcome them too!
