Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

Ephesians 4:25

Ephesians 4:1-32Bible in a Year:Leviticus 19:1-37  ;  John 6:1-71

Being honest is not always easy. Sometimes, it feels like making an excuse or using a different reason, and then the truth will spare the feelings of others.

Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25

When we are honest with each other, we build trust and create a safe space where we can be ourselves without fear of judgment or deception.

That is important because, as Believers, we are called to support and uplift one another.

Honesty is not just about avoiding lies. It is also about speaking the truth in love. Sometimes, being honest means having difficult conversations.

It means gently correcting someone or admitting when we have made a mistake. It means being vulnerable and open, even when it is uncomfortable.

When we speak truthfully and with love, we reflect the character of Jesus.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

We are called to be truthful in our words and actions.

Decide to be a person of honesty and integrity and speak truthfully, even when it is hard.

Build relationships based on trust and authenticity and, most importantly, reflect the truth of Jesus in everything you do.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I am very thankful I have Your Word and Your Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into all truth. I will read Your Word and meditate on Your Truth so that as I live my life, truth will be lived out in me. I thank You I am not alone, as You are with me to lead, guide, and direct. Thank You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We Are Called To Be Truthful In Our Words And Actions.
