Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

THE VICTORY OF JESUS

The victory Jesus had over death secured eternal life for Himself and all of us who believe in Him.

Romans 6:8-11

Through death, Jesus conquered sin once and for all. And in His resurrection, He demonstrated His power over death itself.

As Believers, this should radically shape how we view ourselves and live our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin, bound by its power. Instead, we are alive to God in Jesus.

This means that our old selves, characterized by sin and disobedience, have been crucified with Christ.

Our past mistakes and failures no longer define us. Instead, we are defined by our identity in Jesus, a new creation, redeemed and set free from the bondage of sin.

Live in the freedom that the resurrection of Jesus brings, knowing that you are no longer enslaved to sin but alive to God.

Let your new identity in Christ permeate every aspect of your life, shaping your thoughts, words, and actions as you walk in the resurrection power of Jesus.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Jesus and what that means to me personally. I can now live in the freedom that Jesus' resurrection brings, knowing that I am no longer enslaved to sin but alive to You, Father God, I can now see the celebration of this week and Easter through different eyes as I walk my life with Your risen Son Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
