When we talk about putting on the new man, it is not like changing clothes or getting a new look.
and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24
It is about transforming ourselves from the inside out and aligning our thoughts, attitudes, and actions with the Word of God.
When we embrace our new identity in Christ, we let go of our old ways and habits and step into the new identity God has called us to.
Putting on the new man is not a one time thing. It is a daily choice. Every day, we have to make the decision to live in accordance with our new identity in Christ.
It is about walking in the Word of God, even when it is not an easy path. It is about pursuing the Word of God, even when the world around us is tempting us to compromise.
When we put on the new man, we are not just changing our behavior; we are changing our hearts and allowing God to mold us into the people He created us to be.
As we continue to walk in obedience to God, the Word of God will become a more natural part of who we are.
Choose to put on the new man, embrace the identity that God has given you, and live each day knowing that as you do, you are becoming more like what God created you to be.
Heavenly Father, I am forever thankful for the instruction and enlightenment for my life found only in Your Word. Please give me ears to hear and a heart that seeks You first, especially at the beginning of each day. I will then have the foundation to live each day glorifying You. Thank You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
