God gives rest to his children. When we’re tired all the time it might be because we’re trying to accomplish things in our flesh apart from God. That’s nothing but wasted effort because God gives sleep to those he loves, which includes you!

Not only does God give you sleep, but He gives you blessings at the same time. I have to regularly remind myself of this.

Even though my work is blessed, I am not blessed because of my hard work. Instead I can go to bed at a decent hour, get plenty of rest, and know that God blesses me and what I do anyway.

It is vain for you to rise early,

To retire late,

To eat the bread of anxious labors—

For He gives [blessings] to His beloved even in his sleep.
