God does not send bad things on us. Only good and perfect gifts come from God. It is deception to think otherwise. It is absolutely vital that you get this truth deep down in your soul. God only sends you good things. If there is something bad in your life, God is not the source of that bad thing.

Until we understand that God only sends us good things, we will never be able to have the depth of intimacy with Him that is ours because no one can be truly intimate with someone they think might hurt them at any moment.
