You are an ambassador for Jesus everywhere you go. This is a serious responsibility. An ambassador is the most senior representative of a government in another country. The ambassador speaks on behalf of the head of his government back home. And the ambassador implements the instructions from his own government back home too. The Bible says that you have this role and title representing Jesus to a lost and dying world. You have a responsibility to share the good news that God has already reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And you can therefore encourage folks to be reconciled to God by believing in Jesus, now that God has done His part.

We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.— 2 Corinthians 5:20 (WEB)
