Stop trying to win the battle. Jesus already won it! Step into the victory that He won for all of us and enforce His results in your life. The world says you must keep fighting and defend the faith.
Jesus says, “I’ve already won! Enforce My victory!” Instead of trying to defeat the enemy, we get to simply enforce the defeat Jesus already heaped on him. When you make this shift in mindset, you will find it much easier to deal with the enemy.
Because there is still a significant challenge. Even though the enemy is already defeated, he acts as if he’s the winner. Unless you enforce the victory Jesus won on your behalf with the authority He’s given you, the enemy will continue to cause mischief in your life.
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
