SPIRITUAL CONDITION

Paul reminds us of two fundamental truths about our spiritual condition and the incredible response of God to it.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

Paul acknowledges our universal condition, everyone has sinned. None of us measures up to the perfect standards of God.

No matter how good we think we are or how hard we try, we all fall short. This can be tough to accept, especially when we pride ourselves on good deeds or moral behavior.

Despite our failures, God offers us His grace. This means that even though we do not deserve it, God declares us righteous because of what Jesus did on the cross.

God does not hold our sins against us. Instead, He looks at us through the lens of the sacrifice of Jesus, seeing us as redeemed and clean.

Grace is such a powerful and often misunderstood concept. It is an unearned favor, a gift from God that we could never achieve alone.

This grace is made possible through the redemption that is in Jesus. He paid the price for our sins, something we could never do for ourselves. His death and resurrection opened the door for us to be reconciled with God, not by our works, but through faith in Him.

It is easy to get caught up in trying to earn the approval of God or feel defeated by our failures. Paul reminds us that our relationship with God is not based on our performance but His grace.

We are invited to rest in this grace, to accept that we are loved and forgiven because of Jesus.

As you go through your day, remember these truths: Stop trying to be perfect, rest in the grace God gave you, and live in the freedom that comes from knowing you are justified and redeemed in Christ.

This is the heart of the Gospel, the good news that transforms lives and offers hope to the hopeless.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I am so very thankful for the cross and the justification and redemption that are now mine because of Jesus and the sacrifice that was made. Father, how can we ever say thank You? I give myself to You for following in Jesus' footsteps as I read and learn how You want to live through me. I will be Your hand extended to show love to others and share about You. Thank You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Stop Trying To Be Perfect, Rest In The Grace God Gave You, And Live In The Freedom That Comes From Knowing You Are Justified And Redeemed In Christ.
