When we are born again we become entirely new creations in Christ. It's a complete identity exchange. We used to have one nature. The moment we were born again, we were immediately given an entirely new nature.

This new nature, this essence, is who we truly are now, irrespective of our behavior. So many get tripped up on this. They don’t believe they’ve changed because they don’t feel any different or act perfectly.

We do far better to believe what God’s word says about us instead of believing what we feel or act like.

In truth, God transforms us so thoroughly that, even if our lives have only been an ash pile of mistakes, we will become a thing of beauty which blesses everyone around us. You are blessed to be a blessing! Who will you bless today?
