Many Christians are controlled by their emotions instead of by their spirits. As a result they make all sorts of bad decisions and do a ton of destructive stuff. It ends up causing all kinds of strife and chaos in our world. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

We have the capacity to operate in faith even when we don't feel like it. Our emotions are good and can be a powerful part of our human makeup. Yet those same emotions can lie to our hearts and keep us from operating in the faith we already have if we let them.

God created us with emotions, and they are good. But they were never meant to be in charge because they will clog up your faith and quickly move you into fear and disappointment.

You will do far better when you make your feelings follow your faith, instead of leading it.
