Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

Love is an action, not a feeling. Our love for others should be visible in our actions. In truth, unless we do something tangible to make someone's life better in some way, we aren't really loving them. Our actions speak louder than our words. Think of a way you can bless someone today by doing something nice for them that it totally unexpected and undeserved. When you follow through and do it, you will be expressing the love of God towards that person.

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails.— 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (WEB)
