The instruction we get from the Word of God pulls us from the snares of death because it is the fountain of life itself. It satisfies our every thirst and overflows out of us to provide living water to those who thirst around us. You can tell whether or not you really believe that by looking at how much desire you have to read and study the Bible.
When you truly hunger and thirst for the things of God, you won’t have to force yourself to read the Bible. Instead you will spend time in God’s word simply because you want to do so.
Jesus said that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled. That blessing is available to every believer. And the best part?
That is where true freedom is to be found is found. The more we immerse our thought life with the truth of God’s word, the more our souls are transformed to come into agreement with what God’s word says.
And that is how we enter into the overflowing life Jesus promises to us. | ||
