God's plans for us are far better than any of our own plans for ourselves. It’s up to us to discover them and cooperate with them. Then we will see God's plans for our lives actually come to life.
That takes effort on your part. But contrary to what those steeped in religion will tell you, working hard to change your behavior won’t get you there. That’s the wrong kind of effort.
Instead, strive to be diligent to learn the ways of the Kingdom of God. Discover how righteous you truly are and why. It’s not because you do all the right things and deserve it. Instead, it’s because you believe that Jesus deserves it and you know that you are in Him. Therefore you can receive God’s righteousness by faith.
Rest in the finished work of Christ instead of trying to work to deserve what He already gives you.
No matter how long it takes, it is never too late to start cooperating with God's good plans for your life. No matter how far off course you go, or how far away from God you stray, God will never give up on you. Turn to Him today, and trust God to get you back on course towards your true destiny. | ||
