Knowing your identity in Christ is a massive key to unlocking the truly victorious Christian life. Without that understanding we get our value elsewhere, from people or things that will ultimately let us down. Unless we get our significance from our true identity in Christ we are building our lives on a shaky foundation which will ultimately give way and destroy us.
The lost are facing such an extreme identity crisis today that an ever growing number of people are confused about whether they are male or female. So much of the strife and arguing that we see everywhere around us finds its roots in the insecurity that comes from people not knowing their own true identity.
Unfortunately, the identity issue is nearly as big a problem for believers as it is for the lost. If you don’t know who you now are in Christ, you will find it very challenging to step into the identity God has planed for you.
Therefore it’s critical for you to learn your true identity in Christ. The Bible is the mirror which shows you who you truly are. That’s why learning what the Bible says is so valuable. Make time for Bible study. You won’t regret it! | ||
