People often misunderstand the eternal life which Jesus offers to us. They think it’s solely about living forever. But Jesus defined it differently. Jesus said eternal life is knowing God intimately.
This is because eternal life is every bit as much about the quality of our lives as it is the duration. God intends for us to live an abundant life here and now, this side of eternity, as well as once we transition to heaven.
We experience this abundant live through our knowledge of Him, and by receiving His promises. God’s promises are how we experience His Kingdom. But eternal life is even bigger than God’s many amazing promises.
Think about it. The infinite God who created everything you can see and touch just by speaking it into existence, and who even formed you too, makes Himself available to you. The Bible says that He wants to be your friend! Are you willing to invest time to get to know Him? | ||
