Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

25 August 2024

Thanksgiving, our willingness to be thankful to God, is directly tied to our faith. For example, when we are thankful and show appreciation for one of God's promises, then that thankfulness reinforces our belief in that promise.

As our belief in that promise becomes more confident, it strengthens our faith to see it become a reality in our lives. Then, when we take action, that promise manifests in our lives with far less effort than others expect us to put forth.

Then you have a powerful testimony of God’s goodness manifesting in your life as you share how releasing your faith in God’s promises produced tangible and specific results in your life. God gets more glory every time you share your testimonies.

You can start building your faith today through thankfulness. No matter what your circumstances, you can always find something to be thankful for. Build the habit of thankfulness in your life today and watch your faith start to grow!

As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving. — Colossians 2:6-7 (WEB)
