Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings

Jesus redeemed us from the curse. He literally became a curse for us. It’s mind boggling that anyone would do that on our behalf. But that’s exactly what Jesus did for you and for me.

As a result, we are blessed with Abraham's blessings because we believe and are in faith. We walk in the blessing of God in the same way Abraham did — by faith. We simply believe what the Bible says about God’s blessing over our lives, and then act on those beliefs in faith.

Even when Abraham deceived Pharaoh he was blessed anyway. Pharaoh sent him away with tons of goods because God’s hand of blessing was upon Abraham.

God’s blessing on Abraham was all due to God’s own grace and his willingness to receive God’s grace by faith. The blessing we see on his life played out in scripture was entirely unrelated to Abraham’s behavior.

Will you believe this truth that you are blessed with believing Abraham and receive those blessings into your own life today?

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. — Galatians 3:13-14 (WEB)
