Faith brings the unseen into visible reality. Faith pulls reality across from the spiritual realm into the tangible, physical world. It is concrete and real.
Your faith changes things in your world because faith is an action word. Until you do something in line with your faith, until you take action, all you really have is hope that something is true. When you act on that truth which you believe is the moment your hope turns into faith.
That’s why the key to an effective faith is believing in things that are true. Deliberate, intentional Bible study is so vital to you as believer and follower of Jesus. The Bible is the single best source of truth we have available today.
Without consistent, focused time studying God’s Word, you will not have a firm foundation of truth to believe, and then in turn act on, in order to release your effective faith. Trying to exercise faith without being thoroughly steeped in God’s word is like trying to drive a car without any fuel in it. You won’t get very far. | ||
