Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings.

Did you know that you have the ability to limit God? It seems contradictory because God Himself is limitless, but it's true. The Bible says that God put eternity in your heart (Ecclesiastes 3:11). That means your heart acts as the gateway determining how much of eternity you experience in your life today, along with all the power that goes with it. The Bible also says that it's through God's promises that we partake in His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). In His limitlessness, God has made a vast array of amazing promises to allow us to participate in His divine nature and bring eternity into our present world. His desire is for us to believe His promises, receive them by faith, and by doing so manifest His Kingdom to the hurting world around us. Remember what Jesus taught us to pray: "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven." However, when we don't believe His promises, when we turn back to our old worldly, fleshly way of thinking and belief, then our heart limits God's ability to manifest His Kingdom in our lives. Choose today to build your belief in God's promises to the point where they come alive to your heart. Then you will take the limits off God and step out in faith to accomplish great things for the Kingdom. It's time to take your plaice in Heaven's faith hall of fame!

Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.— Psalms 78:41 (KJV)
