One of the biggest challenges we face in this world is making wise decisions. Often we are faced with competing options that can each carry similar amounts of risk or potential gain. How do we choose between those options? Perhaps the best way to make decisions is to follow the path that is most closely aligned with the peace of God. You already have God's peace in you as a fruit of the Spirit. You can let that peace be an umpire for your decisions. Let it, "just make the call." It's a powerful tool for practical living that you already have at your disposal. When things seem unclear and you don't have all the information you need, ask yourself which option gives you more peace. Even if none of those options brings perfect peace, most of the time you will have far more peace about one than you do with any of the other options. Follow that path of peace. Let it guard your heart.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. — Colossians 3:15 (WEB)
