Jesus never forces Himself on anyone. God's grace is available to all through Jesus. He offers it as a gift. But until that gift is received by someone, they do not see the full benefit of what Jesus offers. When we do respond to Jesus in faith, then we receive the benefit from the gift He gives us. Our faith response demonstrates that we have what Jesus called, "ears to hear" what Jesus says to us. When you hear the words of Jesus, and respond to those words in faith, that puts you in the position to receive even more from Him. Your response to God determines how much will be given to you. Responding in faith to the revelation you have today unlocks your capacity to receive more revelation tomorrow, along with all the additional blessing that comes with that further revelation. In other words, you set the measure of how much blessing and revelation you will receive from God by your willingness to respond in faith to the revelation you already have.
