Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings.

Each of us is continuously presented with an amazing amount of choices all throughout our life. Most involve very minor things. But sometimes we make choices that have lasting significance. We have the liberty to choose how we respond and what we do for any given decision we are faced with. The choices are ours to make. But once we make our choice we can't choose the consequences of our choices. For example, we choose what we eat and how much food we take in. We get that choice. But the consequences of our food choices on our health are predetermined. Even those who appear to "get away" with poor choices in the short term suffer negative consequences. These negative consequences will come to light eventually. They just may end up being different than what they expected. God made you powerful, and honors you with the privilege and ability to make choices. Think about the consequences of the choices you are faced with and choose wisely.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your descendants. — Deuteronomy 30:19 (WEB)
