The Bible tells us that God's invisible attributes, such as His glory and His righteousness, can be seen in creation by everyone. Even the natural things of this world ultimately point to God. For example, everyone around sees the lightning in the storm. If you've ever experienced a powerful thunderstorm, you know how intimidating that can be. That is one of the ways the heavens themselves proclaim the righteousness of God. Everyone, believer and unbeliever alike, sees the glory of God and knows in the core of their being that He exists. That's why the most common thing people say when they face a desperate or life threatening situation is, "oh God!" Why do people say those words unless they already knew He exists? Pay attention in creation for things that touch your soul. It could be lightning, a colorful sunset, a beautiful flower, a litter of puppies playing — you name it. Whenever creation touches your soul, know that is God revealing a little bit of His own glory just to bless you.
His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord — at the presence of the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness; all the peoples see His glory.— Psalms 97:4-6 (HCSB)
