Most of us were wandering through life doing our own thing, trying to get by as best as we could. Then at some point we had an encounter with Jesus and everything changed for us. So many things happened for us and to us in that moment when we believed in Jesus that it can take a lifetime to take it all in. The change in us was so totally and radically transformative that Jesus referred to it as being born again. Now we are no longer strangers or foreigners. Instead we are fellow citizens in the Kingdom of God. What's even more amazing is that we have been adopted as sons and daughters into God's very own family. Think about what that means to you. God is now your father. Jesus is now your brother. You are now brother or sister to the King of kings Himself. That makes you royalty! Now it's time to change your thinking to line it up with your true position as part of God's own nobility.

So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God— Ephesians 2:19 (WEB)
