Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings.

15 August 2022

God has specific plans and purposes for each one of us. The Bible says that God will accomplish those plans and purposes. He does so through people here on earth who choose to cooperate with Him. God is inviting you to join Him in accomplishing His purposes. When He prompts you to speak or to act, you will do well to step up and respond. It will take faith for you to respond because it may be risky. Esther risked her very life when she spoke up to save her people. According to the laws of her day the king had every right to kill her for speaking out of turn. God may ask you to take some risks too. Remember He is with you and you are not as alone as you may feel. If you don't respond when God prompts you, He will still accomplish His purposes. However, He will do so through someone else and you will miss out on receiving the benefits from what He is doing. You are here for such a time as this!

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? — Esther 4:14 (NKJV)
