Gene's Daily Scriptural Postings

09 December 2021

God's desire is that every human being is saved and enjoys His presence for all eternity. Yet Jesus said that many will enter by the wide gate that leads to destruction and will not be saved because they choose to reject God's free offer of salvation. The reason for this is that God is the perfect gentleman. He never forces Himself on anyone. God never "makes" anyone do anything. Instead, He invites us to join Him in what He's doing. There is nothing more exciting, amazing, and wonderfully satisfying and fulfilling than saying yes to God. It is when we join God in His plans for our lives that set our course towards our true destiny. Nothing will give our souls more significance than walking in the things we were created to do. Ask God what He would have you do. Say yes to Him and watch your destiny come alive!

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.— 1 Timothy 2:3-4 (WEB)
