Many folks go through life entirely in their own strength. They don't consistently draw from the power of the Holy Spirit. As a result, they tend to burn out in exhaustion. These people only accomplish things that can be entirely explained by natural effort. And because they rely entirely on their own effort, life is hard as they carry the weight of their world in their own strength. But God is looking to add his "super" to our natural to produce supernatural miracles in our lives. We can lean on the Holy Spirit as we rest in Christ. It is by His Spirit that we will truly make a lasting impact in our world around us. After all, Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light. If we are chronically weary, we might consider the possibility that we are relying too much on our own power. Look to Jesus. Rest in Him. Not only will things get easier for you, but the results you see will become more miraculous too!
