God delights in honesty and integrity. The Bible says that dishonest scales are detestable to the Lord. God sees cheating others in business as an abomination. As followers of Jesus, we should be generous and full of integrity in our business dealings with others. There is absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying a good deal when it comes our way. But we should never use any kind of manipulation or pressure to force others into giving us better terms than they want to give. And we believers should never resort to deception to save money. That is theft, and God will never bless that activity. Instead, we can enter the marketplace with the intent to bless those we do business with because we know that God blesses everything to which we put our hands. You can be generous knowing that God gives you favor and that His blessings come upon you and overtake you because of your position in Christ. By sowing blessing into other people's lives and businesses, you are preparing a harvest of blessings for yourself and your business too!
