You have a destiny. As a believer you are now positioned in Christ. Because Jesus carefully observed the Law and everything the Father told Him to do, it's just as if you did too. One of the many promises that comes with this position you have in Christ is that the Lord will make you the head and not the tail. You are destined to be above and not beneath. There is humility in this because it is about Jesus and what he's done, not about anything you do to deserve this position. So if you feel like you are the tail getting dragged around, know this. Where you are now is not where you are destined to be. Seek God and His wisdom to know what you need to change so that you are better positioned for promotion. Instead of seeking the promotion directly, seek God. Be patient and allow Him to promote you are just the right time. In the meantime, hold onto that promise, knowing it is your ultimate destiny.

And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.— Deuteronomy 28:13 (NKJV)
