INVESTING IN OTHERSGod wants us to learn to love and invest in other people by using some of our time and resources to encourage others, build relationships, and demonstrate God’s love by helping others.

“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (Romans 12:10)

Any time we invest our time and resources in God’s kingdom, it draws us closer to God. Any time we help someone, it draws us closer to that person. When we help people in our community or invest in our community, we grow closer to them.

Any time we write a note of encouragement, we have shown God’s love to that person. When we prepare or buy a meal and take it to somebody in need, we have just shown God’s love to that person.

When another Believer is discouraged and needs somebody to talk to, and we take time with that person, we invest in the Kingdom of God.

“For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,” (2 Corinthians 9:12)

When we give to God, we store up treasure in Heaven.

Why should you do this? Because we can not love without giving!

When we start acting in God’s love, the world will know it. Lives will be changed, and God will be glorified.

What can you do today to show God’s love? Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

“Heavenly Father, I thank You for showing me what love is as You have loved me even when I was not obeying You. For Your love to shine through me, I must allow Your Holy Spirit to show me, teach me, and guide me in Your love through Your Word. Your Word I will hide in my heart, so I do not sin against You. As I allow the fruit of the Spirit to live in me, I will show Your love. Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
