Many Christians suffer with tremendous scarcity and have huge needs. Even though this is the case, we don't receive from God because of our needs. Instead, we receive because of God's abundance. It is from God's fullness that we receive, not from our lack. Instead of focusing on your own need, how much it pains you, and how desperately you desire that need to be met, meditate on God's limitless supply, His goodness, and how thoroughly His is able to accomplish so much more than you can ask or imagine. Fix your attention on God and His infinite ability instead of on yourself and your own inability. Build your belief in God's grace and then allow your faith to rise up and touch that grace. In that way you will learn to trust God to supply all your needs from His glorious riches.
From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.— John 1:16 (WEB)
