Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings.

15 November 2022

Ever since day one people have been trying to deny, discredit, and disprove the fact of the resurrection of Jesus. The problem they have is that it really happened. Jesus completely defeated the greatest enemy mankind has ever faced — death. And Jesus is still alive today. On that first resurrection morning the angels asked Mary and the other women a very powerful question: Why do you seek the living among the dead? Then they reminded the women that Jesus predicted His own resurrection multiple times. The resurrection of Jesus is the single most important fact of history. It changes everything. On it rests the proof that Jesus was indeed who He said He was. Because of it, we can believe what Jesus and His disciples teach us from the pages of Scripture with confidence. Jesus is risen! Just like He said He would be. That fact validates everything else Jesus said about Himself.

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him."— Mark 16:6 (NKJV)
