The Lord is the one who called you. He provided your salvation, and He supplies the grace you need to grow to spiritual maturity. It is important that you understand how faithful God is to complete what He starts. He started a work in you the moment you were born again and He will see that work through. Cooperating with the process avoids a whole lot of unnecessary heartache. It takes effort and time to learn how to allow Christ to live through you. You must learn His ways. God's ways are higher than man's ways. It's when you start walking in His ways that you start seeing His results in your life. That's called walking in the Spirit. It's a case of giving spiritual truth priority in our lives above whatever facts we may be faced with at any given moment. It requires you to both know the truth and walk in it. That allows the life of Christ to live through you. Trust the Lord. Not only is He faithful to complete what He started, but He will also be faithful to flow through you. Then others will be attracted to the difference they see in your life.
He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.— 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (WEB)
