AUDIO VERSIONA SACRIFICE OF PRAISEWe can not bring glory to God without Jesus. We need Jesus for us to be able to praise God and honor Him rather than ourselves.

“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” (Hebrews 13:16)

We need Jesus to look beyond our present circumstances and believe in God’s promises that move us into action, offering a sacrifice of praise.

What we have can be anything, but the greatest gift we can give is ourselves. We tend to measure our giving by what we have, but they are pale compared to ourselves.

Our time, concern, support, listening, and helping hand are more valuable than anything money can do or buy. Notice that praise is connected with sacrifice.

A sacrifice is something we give that costs us something; it often is something we give up and go out of our way without a thought of personal comfort to tell and show others the glory of Jesus.

When we act only within the boundaries of comfort, we are not offering God any sacrifice or praise at all and will not please God.

When we invest ourselves in others, we are pleasing God. Take the time today to give someone our time and attention. You will be glad you did.Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

“Heavenly Father, as I read Your Word and keep it within my heart, I know I will be pleasing to You. You have instructed us of the importance of Your Word living in Your children. As I live showing the fruit of Your Holy Spirit, I know I will be showing You to others. I will live praising You and thanking You for all You have done, and I will bring praise to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
