John 1:1-51 Bible in a Year:

Psalm 106:1-48 ; 1 Corinthians 10:1-33

AUDIO VERSIONGOD IS MY SALVATIONGod loves each one of us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to come down to earth to live among us so that Jesus could show us how to know God in our hearts.

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)

God did this by sending Jesus as a man. We see God's living Word is Jesus, and the written Word is the Bible. The integrity of God Himself was so great that He gave His Word, and the Word was good. His name and reputation were at stake, and He would not fail or lie and would not break a promise. God made all of the promises He made to us in the Bible come true.

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21)

Jesus came to save us from our sins and make way for us to go to heaven. That is why God told Mary and Joseph to name Him Jesus, which means "God is my salvation."

This is what the Christmas season is all about. God loves us so much that He left heaven to make way for us to enter heaven and spend eternity with Him.

If we believe in Jesus, when we die, we will live in heaven with God forever. It also means that we will be part of God's family. As part of His family, we can talk to God whenever we want and share our thoughts, feelings, fears, and concerns with Him all the time and have confidence that He will answer our prayers.

Read the Bible and lay hold to God's promises that you need in your life. Remember that God keeps all of His promises and will keep His promises to you too.

As you think of Jesus as God's living Word, remember that God keeps His promises.

What promises from God do you need to be answered in your life today? It is never too late for God to answer your prayers.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

“Heavenly Father, what a sacrifice You have given for us to spend eternity with You. The most precious gift of all, Jesus Himself. You sent Him, knowing He would die for me but be resurrected for me to have life. You have given me Your Holy Spirit to live within me as Your child. I know Your Holy Spirit leads and guides me into all truth. Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
